I just timed it, about 22 seconds, but the backup camera will work as soon as you turn the key. Usually by the time i back out of my garage and pull onto my street its about ready to go. The back light color is blue.

Of course. This will depend on your location/how many satellites are above you, but it seems about the same as my Iphone 4s.
