4 Channel DVR system for the BRZ

so i found this dvr system

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Realtime-Dua...item258054a872

i was gonna buy a gopro but ive been using a friends and its a pain in the butt and the battery dies quick. its also about 100 bucks more than the dvr system.

i would put a camera in the front bumper, rear bumper, behind the driver inside car, and one on the gauges.

you can also have the system run constantly so if you come back to your brz with a nice dent or side swipe you can grab the guys plate # from the video. AND MAKE HIM PAY WITH HIS LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL j/k but yea i wish i had it when i first got the car. id like to know where a few of these dents came from. it would be cool to go back and see what really went down.

so will this work?
can i link the cameras to the head unit also?
it would be cool to use the camera in the rear bumper as a reverse camera 2.

You wouldn't want to use these as a backup camera, although you can display anything that provides a composite video output on the BRZ.

A normal backup camera inverts the image (makes it mirrored left to right, so it's the same orientation as looking in your mirrors), and uses a wide "fisheye" field of view. It'd probably be pretty disorienting to have a normal rearward camera display as your backup camera, unless you just used it for measuring distance to the curb or car behind you, not for steering.
