2013 Subaru BRZ Limited 6MT

What price should I shoot for OTD for a 2013 Subaru BRZ Limited 6MT, does $28,000 Out the door sounds about right?

I'm going to the dealership this weekend and want to be prepared.

You're not going to get $28k OTD with a Limited in CA.

To get that, you'd need a dealer to sell you a car at $25500, which is even below the most optimistic price for a Limited.

$30K OTD is a more realistic goal.

if by OTD you mean before taxes and fees, then that sound reasonable.
i always thought OTD meant after taxes/fees, but people use it both ways.

Depends on where you are in CA. MSRP is usually $28k-29K. Dealer fees range anywhere between 300-600. And Sales tax will be on top of selling price and will depend on where you are registering the car. So, assuming a 9% sales tax, you'll be looking at about $31k OTD.

by OTD i mean including all taxes fee's etc etc. so i would be walking away with the car for exactly $28,000

highly unlikely here in socal.
you may want to give Clint at Heuberger a call, i haven't seen anyone beat his price here.

Can't hurt to try for it, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd say that ~$30K is a more realistic best OTD total today. But that might change in a month.

I would give Clint a call. It seems most CA dealers are still selling close to MSRP and Clint will sell you one well below invoice. Shipping to CA should not be that bad....

I doubt you'll get 28k for OTD. And in a sunny state like CA where rwd shines.

If you were in Alaska....maybe. Mine was almost 33k OTD but I also bought pre-paid maintenance.

Dude, 28k....30k?? who the hell pays that for a BRZ?!! You guys are getting robbed, HARD!

Do yourself a favor and call Clint Earhart from Heuberger Subaru for a quote.

I'm getting mine shipped to me, with everything for far less than $28k from him.

Also, that means your BRZ will actually be "new", no test driven by a dozen 16 year olds per weekend, like most BRZs that are siting on a dealer lot seem to be.

Just be patient and wait for your car to arrive, I bet that's worth saving couple thousand. You can use the money you save to order parts you want while you wait, which is what I'm doing.

But for the love of god, do yourself a favor and don't pay that ridiculous price.
