Clay Barred. (If you want, post yours, too.)

Due to all of the wet weather we have had here in NC over the summer, I have not had a chance to wax my car since I took delivery on May 31st. This includes a roundtrip to New Hampshire over July 4th. I went to Autozone today and I had a $20 gift card, so I figured I would take the Pepsi challenge. I have never used a clay bar before, and now I am sold. My paint feels like butta, and shines like it has never shined since, well, ever!

I always convince people about the wonders of a clay bar by making them feel a well cleaned and waxed surface but not clay bar'd surface, versus one I just clay bar'd (usually a 50/50 on a hood or panel). It's always eye opening how it feels. Smooth like a wine glass. Sublime.

It is too damn hot still in FL to do any sort of detailing right now. SUCKS cuz it needs a wash every 3 days if I really want to keep it shiny...it got washed twice all summer lol

I've washed my car about ten times since I bought it. It's always rained a day or two afterwards until this past week. I'm sure it will rain again soon. It's my luck.
