Introduction / Vehicle History (240SX)

I've been lurking on this forum for a few months, figured I should introduce myself, and show where I'm coming from as far as past vehicles go. Most of my projects were 240SX-related...

RB20DET swap...sounded amazing, was pretty quick too


Wrecked it being a dumbass 19 year old...




Got another S13, SOHC -> DOHC swap


It got a turbo





Picked up an S14, unfortunately ate it's timing chain about a year in...


Got another S13, only 90k miles on it. Swapped drivetrain from other shell because of rust. Did auto -> manual swap along the way. Drove around NA for a while, then a 50 trim T3/T4 found its way under the hood. Put down around 310 whp. Sold when I moved to DC and couldn't work on it anymore.


Leased a Sonata for almost 3 years so I wouldn't dump money I didn't have into modifying something, then picked this up in July (excuse the dead bugs):






She already has over 3k on her due to a few road trips. Love the car, very similar dynamics to the 240, though much more refined. Feels good to have something fun to drive again (Sonata did its job, but it definitely never got the blood flowing). I did leave out a few cars (legacy wagon, LS400, RX-7, CRX Si) but the 240s were my big projects. Gonna try to leave the BRZ stock for a while and run RTR in autocross events. My only mod is 225 Dunlop ZIIs thus far, and it is pretty competitive already. I may not be able to resist buying some goodies and have to switch to STX though...
