Anywhere I can find a very small fire extinguisher locally?

I need to get one by Friday. Looking for one that I can stick behind my seat, hitting the track this weekend and with running oil lines, it's probably a good idea to have one just in case.

Lowes. Home Depot. Ace Hardware.

If you want an automotive specific shop to buy it from, maybe try OG Racing in Sterling.

Any Local Hardware store should have it, I would buy a big one not a small one judging by any recent paranoid events lol

Do you also have a popular flex-fuel kit installed? Maybe you should get a large extinguisher?

He doesn't but I do. I have the "new" lines though, the ones that click into place and are not forced down with a clamp thing. Swift want to pick up two and i'll deduct it from the hotel bill?

^ yeah I'll see if I can find something tonight or tomorrow.

I'm not too worried but just in case a line breaks or a fitting goes. I'd rather be able to salvage what I can instead of watching it burn to the ground. I might be adding water/meth down the road too so it would be good to have for that as well.

or just buy one. they're like $20.

@swift996 - Make sure it's a class B extinguisher. They cover oils, fuel, etc.

OGRacing has a 2.5 pound sodium dry powder class B/C extinguisher for $49 (more expensive, because racecar?), mounting strap included. I know they're up in NoVA, right?

Most of the local home improvement stores sell extinguishers. Ones for use "in the kitchen" i believe are almost all dry powder extinguishers. I have on in my garage, its white though, not red.

OG racing has them for sure - there is also a fire extinguisher supply store in old-town alexandria that may carry something better (halon?)

A cooking one may not be the best solution.

711A Rating: What It Means

The Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) 711A rating is the most current testing standard for residential cooking equipment, and is the only standard that tests an extinguisher's performance on vegetable and peanut oil. Consumers typically use these types of oils when cooking on the stove. However, because this standard is so new, it does not translate to a traditional A, B, or C rating like other fire extinguishers.
711A Rating: Why It's Important

A fire extinguisher tested to put out cooking oil fires safely and effectively in a residential kitchen offers the consumer added peace of mind. That's why Kidde's Kitchen Fire Extinguisher was designed to the 711A rating.
I'd stick with an auto/marine rated one, it's similar to the kitchen unit (they look almost identical, both sodium bicarb extinguishers), but the kitchen unit isn't an A/B/C rated extinguisher and has a special nozzle to be dispersed as low pressure. I actually just checked lowes website, @swift996, and their chesterfield store has these auto/marine units (DOT/USCG approved) for 20 a piece with bracket, something tells me the bracket won't be as nice as the one from OG though:
