Autocar review out

Another very positive review -

...these elements gel to deliver a driving experience that is addictive, to put it mildly. Because, after all, nothing can prepare you for just how pure the GT 86 is to drive; how sweetly it steers, how well balanced its chassis is near the limit, how crisply its brakes respond, or how incisive it feels when snapping from one direction to another.

I see a lot positive comments on the site than on autoblog, MT and IL. Why American websites suck so bad?

Another good and positive review. Points out how important the car so much it makes you forget the price. Doesn't matter how much, just get one.

But you get the point. Let me rephrase, "People in those sites suck."

Short and sweet, the review made it seem like a blast to drive and everything ive been looking for in a car since the supra (minus the power but i dont care about that). The keyword in this car is POTENTIAL and i hope everyone can realize that.

That's definitely a trend I've noticed. On sites that cater to American audiences, there's a lot of smack talk, comparisons, this car vs. that car, etc - with overseas forums people seem more interested in just driving and enjoying their cars.

If you follow the British car press you'll see that they place far less emphasis on raw acceleration in their reviews. And because of gasoline prices and tax policies far fewer folks over there can afford vehicles with massive horsepower; many vehicles that we also get here come with lower hp engine options over there that are taken up by most buyers (eg Miata, BMW 1 series). So 200hp looks pretty acceptable to them.
