Its crazy. They pretty much put everything that made the corvette special in the camaro

Should be a monster but damn its still heavy. Surpirsed they only aimed for a 100 pounds weight loss

I however would not rock I don't like the look if the camaros and having driven one its surprising how little space there is inside.

I was honestly considering the Camaro before I got my FR-S, but the Camaro seems like an unnecessarily large car for an unnecessarily small amount of cabin space. Not that the FR-S is any better on internal space, but at least you KNOW what you're getting into by looking at the FR-S from the outside.
The Camaro is just an optical illusion. Great car. I still love them, just wouldn't own one myself.

Well I would never trade in my BRZ to get one. I would like it as a weekend beast car.

I can't even lie... that new camaro in white looks insanely menacing

It will probably be a hoot to drive, but it's still not my cup of tea

Kind of a cynical exercise by GM, IMO. Take a hideously overweight car and remove the most basic street car features to save a whopping 2% of its weight, which will have approximately zero discernible effect on performance, then put a revered nameplate on it and charge stupid money for it (> ZL1 implies over $60k!). And THEN charge MORE money to put the A/C and stereo back in!

If I was *at all* into this kind of thing, I'd just get a brand new '13 1LE for just under $40k and put a hot cam in it.

For me, this iteration of the Camaro means just one thing: More LS engine donor cars!

That car has never tingled my insides. Too big, heavy and a plastic looking car. Good thing it's fast as shit though.

Meh, I guess it's sorta fast. Should only be about 10mph slower in the 1/4 than my RX-7 with the same hp...

Gauche. Gordo. Gross.

In all fairness, the older Camaros are much cooler and lighter cars. I'd take a Smokey car with a smile.

It's a trend that pisses me off a bit, really. Porsche does it too.

What, less features? Well, it weighs less, so you're going to have to pay more. Those fabric door handles don't grow on trees don'tcha know!?

Fuck that philosophy. I'm with you. Get the lower trim version and spend that extra money on modding.

I do prefer the new front and rear ends on the refreshed Camaros now.
