W/M for N/A?
I did a search but didnt come up with anything. Is anyone running w/m on their n/a car? I've run it on my last three cars with great results but they were all F/I.
I'm partially interested because I ran it on my 2.0t FSI (VW/Audi Direct Injection) as a means of slowing carbon buildup which was a huge problem on the first gen VW/Audi direct injection motors. In conjunction with a catch-can it virtually eliminated carbon buildup. In addition, when tuning for it, even on the stock turbo, I picked up 20whp. Obviously I know the gains wouldnt be that substantial, however I'm curious what kind of gains people are seeing. |

I don't think your going to get much response as i have not seen many if any running WMI on NA FA20's. If E85 is available, that is probably a better option. E85 tunes will gain 15 - 20 whp over pump tunes in most cases. A portion of the gains are due to the oxygen content of E85 and a portion are due to high octane and detonation resistance. I suspect you will get some gains but not as much as E85.

It's something I've thought about a lot however I haven't pulled the trigger yet. In an N/A car you wouldn't use much water as you wont cool the incoming air as it's already the same temp as the water which you are injecting.
