Prepping for Install Day

I'll be installing an FA20Club 57 trim kit with fuel pump, injectors, 3 BAR MAP Sensor & P3 vent gauge within the next few weeks.

Aside from a cheering girlfriend, handy friend & beer is there anything else I should order (gaskets, etc.) to prevent the need to make Home Depot and Autozone runs mid-install?

Mentioning the usual suspects @Sportsguy83 @lexusb3 @King Tut @FA20Club.com @pixel67 @1slowbrz @chadstyle @Ny Brz @Andy@FA20Club

After my ehxaust leak issues, I recommend getting two of this Exhaust manifold gaskets:

Subaru part number 14038AA000 gasket

Get teflon, anti seize, thread sealant, grease, brake parts cleaner, shop towels

Don't forget a small first aid kit for those inevitable blood offerings to the performance gods.
Seriously. You don't want to lose an hour scouring your place for a damn bandaid so you can stop bleeding all over everything when you jam a knuckle good and hard.

Yep. While the Subaru BRZ manual recommends a very specific three bond sealant, all the previous Subarus have used the more common Fuji Bond (a more liquidy version of my favorite Honda Bond). That is what I used on my oil pan, and it sealed up perfectly. If you are replacing the fuel pump you might want to order a new fuel pump gasket as if you remove it more than once there is a good chance you will damage the gasket. The only specialty tool I can think of is the fuel line quick disconnect tool if you are doing injectors. They come in a pack of 5 or 6, and the one you need is the smallest one.

@King Tut just reminded me with his post (and this is something I wish I knew when I did my install), its a good idea to remove the FP relay and then crank the car a couple of times to remove the fuel pressure from the lines before replacing the FP and injectors

*aside, drinking and driving (driving while being inebriated) is not condoned and will leave to imprisonment, hefty fines, possible loss of driving privileges, loss of wages and possible loss of life.

Bandaid? Surely you mean electrical tape
