I cannot compare to regular catless frontpipe as I've only run the catless resonated... I am running the catless resonated frontpipe with an Invidia Q300 and a P&L overpipe. Between the frontpipe resonator and the midpipe resonator and the large muffler I have absolutely zero drone and it's very quiet except when I'm getting on it above 3K RPM. Even then it just sounds aggressive, but is not loud.
I think this will be a pretty good sounding combo when I get a header too. I expect there will be zero rasp. |

I have Q300 with Invidia Catless front-pipe and from my experience i get zero drone, and cruising around sounds normal just a little more aggressive. But when i lay on the throttle, it gives me the noise i want but not obnoxious at all. I assume with a resonator on the catless pipe it would just make it a decent bit quieter. Will still give an aggressive sound but probably not as loud as catless. Which when paired with the Q300 is really not too loud so that is why i chose regular catless over resonated catless. And the price for the catless pipe is a steal!

Currently I have but haven't installed the Perrin resonated catback, perrin overpipe, revworks uel header and invidia catless resonated fp and takeda intake system. I am just concerned it won't be loud enough and am considering sending back/selling my front pipe and going just catless and no resonator. What do you think about this? Can you still return products to ft86sf once you install them?

We run one on our silver car. I say you should always run at least a resonated or catted front pipe. Catless = to much drone.
