Clear bra left residue

Hey guys,

I recently got my car clear bra'd at mr tint. Now when I go the car there was this white residue all over the side mirrors and plastic, It's most likely the left over gunk that they used as adhesive on the clear bra. Now that it's stuck on the mirrors I cannot seem to get it off.

Tried goo gone, tarminator, etc -- nothing works. Anyone have any suggestions on a solution I can use to remove this stuff? I'm taking the car to them on saturday, but would like to just get it off since it's really unsightly.

My suggestion, before you mess it up yourself, would be to go back and see what the installer can do. They should get the first chance to resolve it.

Yup plan to on Saturday. I didn't spray all over the place. Just tested a small white spot

Was Xpel film applied? If so then there's a very a good chance they used Xpels installation gel. This is the only install product I've seen in 6yrs that can actually damage black plastic if not cleaned thoroughly; especially immediately. I've used it once and it was absolutely unnecessary. I was warned about this side effect from my boss. Ahah. Apparently there's no way to remove it; clear bra shop will probably be buying you a need mirror assembly.
