Stance coilovers lowering issue
hey guys,
i need help yet again. i think i screwed up adjusting the ride height of my coils. I read the instruction manual and it says to loosen the lowest locking collar like so ![]() and then ![]() and then set it to the height you want a twist the entire strut until it locks like so ![]() i tried that method first but i didnt work for my as because the coilovers became too short, i couldnt get my rotors high enough and the brake line and abs sensor lines didnt align with the points. so what i did was instead of adjusting it via the lowering locking collar, i just loosened the locking collar holding the spring preload, set it to the low i wanted then twisted the spring preload until it locked against the locking collar like so ![]() am i doing it wrong? are there any consequences to doing it like that? thanks guys. |

How low/high did you want to adjust the coilovers?
I believe Stance preload should be at 0, so the spring should be snug. As long as you have that as your preload you should be good. As for the damper make sure you have enough threading in the lower bracket. You should have atleast 1.5 inches of shock thread on there. Goodluck! |
