wheel got damaged during shipping

Hey so i purchased a set of 17x9 rpf1's but one of the wheel got damaged during shipping. My only concern is, i received em on july 15th, and i now noticed the damage. The reason why i was so late was because today was the day i was going to get em mounted since i broke my ankle and couldn't do anything for a whole month, so will me being so late to notice the damage be a problem? I contacted the vendor/sent pics and im just waiting for the response. But is there anything else i can do? The company that shipped it was UPS.

Here's some pictures of it, and you can clearly tell the box was damaged from the same area.

My enkeis came with a plastic ring protecting the lips. Did yours have those? If so that must have been some serious force....

no all it had was some cloth thing that covered the lip. It was similar to like a hair net.

My main concern is these were the 35offset wheels. And when i bought em i think the vendor only had like 1 or 2 sets left. So what if they have no more 17x9 et35 rpf1's. Also i tried to file a claim but i deleted all my emails to make room, and i lost the tracking info to file a claim with ups D:

hmm mine had the hair net and plastic ring. Were the boxes opened and resealed? Try email enkei and ask if they should have had those rings.

Im not sure if they were opened but they might have while sitting at the vendor. I just emailed the vendor about this issue, and they said they'll talk to ups about the damage. So im just waiting but anyone have experience with this? Like how long will i usually have to wait for a new wheel or something.

Worst case you can take it somewhere to get fix. Its small and plain silver, shouldn't be too hard for a wheel repair guy.

If they deny the fact of why the wheels weren't check earlier then give documentation of your injury.
