Btw, what is GT300? Is it like Formula 1 racing (cool tracks at high speeds) or more like NASCAR (only turn left in a boring oval for hourrssss)? And where can we watch it?

Super GT aka JGTC. GT300 is a class limited to 300hp; another class is GT500, which is limited to 500hp.
