What are you listening to?
What do you guys enjoy listening to when cruising around in your FR-S? I have been enjoying Vanilla http://vanillabeats.bandcamp.com/ Great chill summertime music
![]() Do you guys ever grab your keys in the middle of the night just go for a drive? I have owned the car for less than week, and I love this car! Last edited by tunami; 07-28-2013 at 11:50 PM. |

Achillea, Banco de Gaia, almost anything from "Putumayo Presents" Parov Stelar, Index ID, Kuba, Morcheeba, Ott, Shinju Gumi, Paul Oakenfold, William Orbit, Artemisia (my favorite), Zero 7, Euphoria, Goldfish, Gorillaz, Pop Will Eat Itself, Loop Guru. A real good way to discover Electronica or Lounge stuff you may not have heard is to try the various Pilates and Yoga workout discs. TuneIn radio (web and iPad) has some GREAT electronica and lounge stations.

I usually take a couple minutes before longer drives to find an appropriate playlist on Songza or 8tracks mobile apps. The Drive soundtrack is always a winner for night drives (ie: Nightcall by Kavinsky ; Tick of the Clock by Chromatics).
Buuuuut realistically I end up turning it down to listen to the engine and only actually listen to music about 1% of the drive lol. I love the sound of the our engines, not too sure why people make a big fuss about it. I guess i'm just a huge fan of the raspy sound of any boxer If engine. I also like to listen to my revs and know exactly where i'm at in the power band and rpm range. |
