Help with AVIC-X950BH Intsall

Hey guys, finally getting around to installing my new Pioneer HU and am at a loss about the speed signal and reverse signal wires on the Pioneer wiring harness... I'm searched and found out the speed signal is the pink/green wire on the factory 28pin harness, but am not sure how to go about hooking up the pink signal wire on the Pioneer harness. The wire on the Pioneer harness is just a bare wire with no pin to install in the stock harness, should I just extend that wire and tap into the factory harness? Should I try to locate a pin to use? I've never dealt with NAV units before, so am a bit confused here. Same with the reverse signal wire (purple on the Pioneer harness), it recommends hooking this up as well (and I'd have to hook it up for the rear view camera I'm about to order) but don't know how to go about finding a place to hook the wire (on the Pioneer harness)

Anyone with an aftermarket Pioneer with NAV have any suggestions? For now I'm thinking about only worrying about the pink speed signal wire, as at least know where that wire in on the factory harness. I'll worry about the reverse wire when my back up cam gets here (granted the Pioneer manual suggests hooking that up regardless of using a back up cam or not) Ugh... hopefully the rest of this install goes well, its been YEARS since I've done anything like this. I also ordered the Microbypass, and hope that is fairly straight forward to install!

I'm damn determined to get this installed on my own though, so wish me luck!

Oh, once last thing, has anyone found a good place for the GPS antenna? I suppose on the dash would be best, but someone mentioned putting it on the bar behind the HU. Wonder if that would work or cause me troubles in the end.

Thanks!
