Come out.. car was broken into... no damages or anything, or atleast i didn't see anything... will through check later once this rain goes away. I've had the car for about 2 weeks .... and the curse hits me ...total BS! .... still don't understand why my gas lid was pop open? hopefully they didn't pour anything into my gas tank ect ... :mad0 259:

Maybe they though that the gas release was the truck release?

what was the end result? You should look into a dash cam my friend. $300 and it can help in the long wrong.

I've seens a few nice alarm systems that go crazy when people even get near the car. Might be a good investment

i live in a very quiet VERY QUIET neighborhood, and i've never had any problems with any of my other cars i have own. I must of forgotten to lock the car or something... window wasn't broken ... or they must really be good idk .... just didn't lose anything from what i can see. i'm hoping they didn't mess with the engine or piss in my gas tank ...... would suck big time. i'm also looking into an alarm now after this.

That sucks man, just bought an alarm system for my car about 1-2 months ago and haven't had any issues with it. Just thought i'd share and throw it out there, originally its about $500 but amazon has it on sale for under $200. It's got a lot of range and it will page you when something happens to your car and tell you exactly what (door/hood/window/trunk) is being messed with as well as having remote start and a encrypted remote signal. Absolutely love this alarm. It's a python which is owned by viper so it's definitely high end.

Here's the link:

I would take the car to a mechanic ASAP and make sure that nothing was put in the gas tank. I'd also find a friend who also has an FR-S (or a sympathetic dealership), pop the hood on both cars, and make sure nothing is missing/damaged (it can be missed if you don't know what to look for).

Good luck, and I hope this is the only time you have to go through this
