"Required" mods

What are some cosmetic modifications you guys consider to be pretty much required?

For me its:
Chrome amber turn signal bulbs (or some sort of variation that doesn't have that ugly yellow reflective look)
Sharkfin Antenna
All lights LED replacement
Clear Sidemarkers
Tint (because I hate the sun)

car seat covers- hate ripping seats, my dads 4runner was only 4 years old when it got its first rip, while my camry that has covers is over 14 years old, still clean and pretty underneath

tint- black car + sun = bad time

license plate cover - cheap pretty cosmetic mod with lots of options

First thing I did was install the Subaru BRZ trunk lid liner. Next deleted the sound tube. Bought a console cover/arm rest and a small aluminum plaque for the console indent and the last thing I did was switch out the antenna to a 2" shorty. I'm done.

Window visors impact the look a lot I think. Also HID retrofit or kit and foglights. Rear diffuser if you arent going to replace the bumper. its good also for add on kits as it compliments the diffuser.

Euro armrest - really makes the interior look nice, more comfortable, and looks and feels OEM (it's worth the extra $100 over the crappy aftermarket ones that don't line up properly)

Debadge, on a BRZ at least - there really isn't room for lettering, it just looks too cluttered with the Pleaides, "SUBARU", "BRZ", and the chrome in the tail lights. Ditching "SUBARU" and "BRZ" really makes the back of the car look nicer, and doing it immediately means that there's no fading or residue (I parked in the warm sun and pulled them off with my fingers)

The Rest-of-the-world clear front sidemarkers look like a pretty nice mod.

Unfortunately, there are no quality chrome or dichroic 7440 bulbs on the market right now, so you're pretty much stuck with the fried egg, but if something comes out, that'd be an essential mod.

I guess I will be the guy who says there are no "required" mods. Your list shares a commonality with most people though. Living in FL, tint was the first thing I did because it is the only must have.

I have no problem with the stock antenna. The 2" shorty severely cuts reception (which is a major no-no for me) and I don't like the sharkfin.

I did do the full exterior LED light change-out and bought the light smoked side markers. I wanted a bit of a higher end feel on the interior so I bought some JPMCoachworks leather pieces and am hopefully installing the Katzkin leather seats on Sunday.

Nothing is required per se, but I knew immediately I would want to do debadge, clear sidemarkers, sharkfin antenna, tint, exhaust, diffuser, lowering and wheels/tires.
