Not familiar with what is p.con... is that just the power connector? Can't be too many wires connected to an amp: 12V power, Ground, remote turn-on, RCA cables, and speaker wires. Not sure what p.con is.... unless its some sub-level control?

there are a few places you can go get a remote turn on, but from the stock stereo I would go to one of two places: 1.) splice into the remote turn-on signal for the stock amp (I believe its the brown wire), 2.) splice into the ACC signal going to the stereo and run it to where your amp is. This is simply a 12VDC signal that goes to 12V when the stereo is on to turn on your amp.

Yes, the amp will not turn on without a remote wire connected. It's key'd on power so the amp only comes on when your car turns on. Otherwise you have an amp that is powered on at all time, car on or off. You can do a quick test to see if this is the issue. Insert a wire into the REM lug on the amp, tap the other end to the 12v constant (power wire for amp) and see if it trips the relay to power the amp.

I had a problem using the rem line outs from the head unit and the door speaker amps so i ran a wire from one of the key'd on fuses to the amp. Here this picture might clear things up. One thing, on this image it shows the REM line on the amp as the one of the end lugs on the amp... Some amps have the REM lug in between the 12v and ground so make sure you verify how each lug is marked.
