Beat Sonic Antenna REMOVAL
What is the best way to remove the Beat Sonic shark fin antenna?
I just received it today and installed it, but overall I'm not pleased with the look of it. It's very obvious that it's an antenna for a different car. Plus, it's too big to fit the sleek look of the BRZ. Looks more like a bulging tumor to me. If I can safely remove it I'll be very happy to sell at a low price. I have a Pearl White antenna for BRZ. I'd take $80 with shipping to whomever wants it. Cost me $115 and it's been on my car less than 2 hours. (Provided you would not mind replacing the adhesive on the bottom) |

Heat and goo gone I would assume, just like badges and anything else stuck on with double sided tape.

Run some fishing line or floss under it to help get it up. Then a little goo gone or WD40 for the clean up

Should be able to design a phased array antenna (cell phone type - think fractal 2 D)
that you could paste down under a vinyl sheet. What's so hard about that? Who needs tumors?

I like the beat sonic antenna also but holding off on purchasing it until I see it in person with these mixed opinions.

After install, my initial reaction was that it was too big and bulky. It eventually grew on me over time. Good luck on your search for a better fitting antenna. The Cusco looks very similar to the short Perrin.

It's sort of growing on me, but I haven't spent a lot of time around my car the past 2 days. If it was a tad bit smaller and the base wasn't so "bubble" shaped then I'd be happy.
Every time I walk out to my car my eyes go straight at the antenna. Not sure if it's because I'm meaning to look directly at it, or if it being oversized is drawing the attention away from the car.
