Where will you be sourcing parts for your FRS/BRZ?

I am well versed in getting parts for Hondas and some parts for other makes & models, but where do you all go for Toyota/Subaru Parts? Specially hard to find JDM/EDM parts?

Also who are some of the more exotic tuners for Toyota/Subaru (non Factory tuners I mean... not like TRD, ZERO sports, STI, etc. Kinda like how Honda has Mugen, ASM, Toda Or Nissan has Yoshio Factory etc. I am familiar with TOM's, J-Blood, Yukes but I have not heard much from any of them but TOM's as far as making parts for the FRS/BRZ...

Thanks for any info! Need to get back up to speed since its been over a decade since Ive owned a Toyota

What kind of bits are you looking for?

engine, suspension, chassis, bolt-ons...? You seem to be listing Japanese shops. In the Subaru world the North America and Australia are largely on the forefront of more hardcore parts.

Yeah I was listing Japanese shops because thats were the cars are produced and figured lots of the tuners there would be producing quality parts and I know people that can usually get me stuff from japan while getting stuff from austraila may be a bit harder.

Cobb is a major player with Subie and I am aware of a few others, just wanted to ask since I have not spent a lot of time tuning these cars (Toyota and Subies) though I have worked on a couple from time to time.

Parts like Coil-overs though i will probably lean towards KW (I have had good experiances with them), Exhausts (probably Ti or maybe SS), Header, Manifold and we have a pretty good Subie tuner out here that I would probably pay a visit to for a tune.

Exterior parts like front Lips, diffusers, wings, mirrors etc

Interior parts shift knobs, pedals, floor matts etc

JDM and EDM or other market parts that might not be available on the US versions?

Thanks, but their markup is a little steep, though I have purchased a part or two from them in the past.

Where to go for good window tint? I was thinking of California Tint in Rosemead because of yelp reviews and a buddy who went there once, but that was yearrrsss ago, and the car was totalled so no way to tell if the tint was good. I wish I could contact the guy I bought my Lude from and ask where he got this tint done, cuz zero bubbles/fade and I'm pretty sure it's old tint.

You can ask dealer to throw in the window tints or have it done there. BRZ doesn't have that many windows so it shouldn't cost too much. And if dealer does it for you, you'll get life-time warranty too.
