Your BRZ Insurance Prices.

I figured we could share (without personal info) a ball park on what everyone here is paying for their BRZ's.

-Please state if full coverage/liability.
-Age of the driver
-IF BRZ is Premium or Limited
-Company insuring it and any extras.
-Price per month, 6months or year.

Here is what I am paying.

State Farm (old agent I've had)
2013 BRZ Limited New (financed)
Full Coverage w/ 1k deductables (I repair cars for a living so no problem,) uninsured and rental coverage. 24 years old. No past accidents or tickets (on record :P)
120.33/month

Before hand I was quoted the following online.

Farmers Insurance: $621.23 A MONTH for full coverage.
Allstate: $231.00 a month with $50k coverage
Esurance: $188 a month $25k coverage

It can even be different in two adjoining zip codes. Asking someone what they pay for insurance is like asking someone how much they spend in the grocery store. There are just too many factors that enter into it. The best you can do is shop the market where you live.

Wife and I pay ~$550 every 6 months (her Honda + my BRZ).

So, something like $55-60 a month or so.

We bundle all our insurance under 1 company.

This is worthless without:

- zip code
- alarm/garage/etc
- discounts on your policy

In my case, I can stack all these on top of my auto:
- multi-car
- good driver
- multi-policy
- low miles
- garage
- anti-theft
- buying life insurance

Ultimately the deductibles don't vary so much as does the LIMITS. Homeowners usually get the max if your house and car are under the same name. Mine, with all the stacked insurance and $500 deductible, comes out to ~$1200 for the year considering I have $150k/$300k liability limits.

Not sure what the comparison of this is for, what we pay will all wildly vary based on your individual financial conditions.

I never got the point of these threads especially when there are so many different variables besides driving history and age that determine the price one pays for insurance. I swear it's like one pops up every couple weeks.
