they raise the prices crazy high when they go out of stock. i picked mine up for $100 shipped from jonmotoring right before the price went up to $120. even at $120 it's a steal.

I'd def wouldn't pay $429 for it. I too got it for $100 off Jonmotoring. Sold it for $40.

They'll drop the price back down once they're in stock. I emailed the seller on eBay he said it has something to do with ebay fees, it's better to just jack the price so no one will buy it until they have them available. Their catback is listed at like $1200 or something until its back, the it'll be ~$400 again.

I noticed they jumped into $1000 for the catback, etc. As previously stated though they'll return to normalcy once they're in stock. I paid $110 for frontpipe and $390 for the catback. Quality's decent, but I wouldn't have paid much more than that for either haha.

yeah the j2 stuff is decent, it's pretty hard to mess up a piece of pipe. it's definitely not stainless, though (at least doesn't pass a magnet test). i think as far a quality and price the tsudo is a better value, as it's around $450 shipped, with a catted front pipe included and looks to be of better quality. it's only 2.5" though, so probably better to stick with the j2 if your going FI.

i may end up selling my j2 front pipe and just getting the 2.5" tsudo setup for now, upgrade to a real 3" solution once more reasonably priced options become available.

Ferritic and Martensitic stainless steels are magnetic. Austenitic stainless steels are non-magnetic. All depends on the mix. I was just saying I live in Wisconsin. You look at things funny and they corrode here. Even 409 SS usually gets ugly by now, but all my pipes still look new corrosion-wise.

I agree though, I wasn't aware of the Tsudo system when I purchased mine. I enjoy the J2's sound, but if I had to do it over again, the Tsudo's a much better deal.

We massively salt in Wisconsin. Ridiculously so. After a 30 minute drive my cars have come home looking like they were 100% plastidipped white. Seriously. Caked. Winter in this state is horrifically hard on vehicles.
