TRD and K and N same filter??

As title says....

Any truth to this?

I am sure someone on here has seen and tested both

more like aFe... if you search a bit on aFe's site, you can actually find "gold" recharge kits along with filters that have the same colour scheme as TRD filters.

I'm sure if you look on the boxes, it'll say where each one is manufactured. If its the same, my bet is that they are the same. I wouldn't really be surprised.

I don't know how similar they are really. K&N filters are oiled to the max whereas the TRD filters aren't oiled as heavily, very minimally in fact.
I don't know if they're made at the same place, but they've probably got as much in common as any two random filters you could pick.
