My trip to Bullet Superchargers (intercooler pics)

Hi guys,

I just wanted to show you guys some of the pictures i took when i spent the day down at Bullet cars. They distribute the supercharger around Australia.

I got to see the blood, sweat and tears these guys put into the development of this supercharger. They were nice enough to show me the stages of development their manifold went through before reaching the product we all receive now. The pictures are below.

Many thanks to sprintex for the supercharger, and everyone at Bullet Cars who took the time to speak with me!

About a month ago, i purchased the Bullet\Sprintex intercooled supercharger over the phone from Ken Streeter, the Sales manager at Bullet Cars. I was really impressed with the service, and i was invited to come and visit the shop if i was ever in the area. The workshop is about 3 days drive (travelling over 3 state lines) away, but i found myself in the area and decided to drop in to say hi.

Am I glad i did.

This is the first prototype with a standard intercooler:

the next prototype was made by a 3-D printer and is useable for testing purposes. It weighs about 2 kg (5 pounds). Amazing!

The next prototype they made was using the laminova (swedish brand) intercooler. This prototype went through rigorous testing, so as you can see it looks well loved!

The Laminova intercooler is a fascinating item, and was really really impressive when compared to the standard intercooler.

Here is what it looks like from underneath

Here is the final picture of a collection of the prototypes.

I just want to thank Bullet Cars again for showing me through the workshop, and I appreciate them allowing me to post these pictures to you guys to show the RnD that goes into these kits.

I feel like the price is amazing value for money when you look at the quality product you receive.

Let me know what you guys think!

Was there any time frame on when this would be released? Obviously in the states, since you were able to order one.

Can anyone explain why Innovate only released a non-intercooled version when the intercooled version is available elsewhere?

Thanks for the pics!

So CARB certification is not being done for the non-intercooled version?

I got the chance to visit Bullet this week to discuss their history, the ft86 platform and of course the Sprintex kit they designed which is being distributed by Cusco in Japan and Innovate in the USA.

They also have various relationships with other international shops on this platform such as providing TRD USA with an initial FI platform for them to do their engine testing on.

Here are some pics!

Beautiful!

With all this work being done for these new intake manifolds, I wonder if any improvements have been made over the OEM manifold that could be of benefit to those of us with turbo applications.
