Build date of first 86's

For those of you who got the first few 86 in NA, what is the build date on the door jam. Just wondering for curiosity sake...

Anyone got one of those 86 early release ones?

I've seen various people mention a few times that they think newer builds have had the DI problem fixed... er... not had the problem built in, rather. I'd like to know definitively if that's true or not, and if so, when is the magical date for that?

They need to fix the gas refineries and stop selling crappy low octane or ethanol mixed gas.

Super agree.

I only put pure gas in my Tiburon. If I even put 10% ethanol gas in as the second half of the tank, it throws a light within a mile of the gas station.

There's an old mom and pop gas station right by my house that only deals with pure gas. They have 87, 91, and 93. If I pull the trigger on an FR-S, I'm totally only buying their 100% 93. The only thing that worries me about it is that I live in a somewhat rural area. The gasoline down in their 93 resevoir might be the same batch they put in there right after the Civil War. I know ethanol-free preserves better than its evil counterpart, but still...

HEY NOW. My first post was build date related.

Speaking of things unrelated, how do I start a poll in this thread about which color 86 to buy? I don't want to start a new thread, I've grown comfortable with this one.

Well then this forum has the most convoluted interface I've ever seen. Forget the poll, that's way too much work.

Manufactured 2-12. Got crickets, pops in the rear deck, and rattle in the shifter. I will get it all looked at a little before warranty runs out.

According to Wikipedia, production started in January 2012, so sounds like yours is definitely one of the OG's.

Vin in the first 1000 US cars, manufactured in March 2012. Got crickets, rev dip, squeaky windows and random starting issues. All but the crickets are avoidable with behavior/maintanence.
