Question about exhaust for my FRS!

Hey everyone, been on this forum for a while it's helped me out with a lot of stuff.

Planning my next performance mod for my FRS and needed some advice,

I currently am running everything stock except for the TRD catback that came installed on my car. I want to finish up the exhaust but wasn't sure if I should do the overpipe first, or the header.

I assumed do the overpipe, it seemed to me to be useless to do the header if the increased flow got cut off by the restrictive oem overpipe system.

Just for added information, I plan on running the Agency Power overpipe and header and eventually going with Greddy intake.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you guys!

Sort of on the same page but I'll b going with the trd intake to go with the exhaust.
May I ask why agency?
Trying to make up my mind, leaning towards nameless headers/overpipe/front pipe.

Same boat for me. Bout to get headers but would love to know if it would be a waste without doing the overpipe and front pipe.

Headers and a tune is generally accepted as giving you more of an impact than anything else.

The agency power overpipe is actually a 2 in 1 system, it includes the front pipe and the over pipe as two separate pieces. I wanted to do the agency headers just to match the overpipe etc. I found a series of videos on the internet where they ran all the different types of intakes on the market on a dyno on a stock frs and showed you all the results. I was leaning towards the TRD intake until I saw it only made 2.5 hp on the dyno. I know it's not a huge difference, but the Greddy intake made 6.5 hp for 100 dollars less. Definitely worth it imo.

look for the nameless overpipe /dp combo they make some top quality stuff

also for headers look around dont set your eyes on one header i know fa20 has some nice headers with nameless coming out with some soon

definitely don't go with agency power headers. there's a guy here on the forum that bought agency power everything a while back since it was first to hit the market and he didn't net any power with their header. their catbacks have also had a lot of complaints so idk if i'd ever buy anything labebled agency power. headers do make power by themselves on stock ecu mapping and stock exhaust. look up the revworks or hotpipes header for comparison on stock cars.

I have the borla headers on the stock over pipe set up and it made a huge difference. Noticeable power gains even on the stock set up. Just put a order in though for my overripe

Headers first to produce power.
