why the wrx is better than your 86
You can't buy one with an auto. Done end of story auto's are garbage and should never be put into anything that wants to be a real sports car.

Since when is the WRX a sports car? Also the WRX has always come in automatic, even the first generation which was a shitty 4 speed.

The WRX was offered, in America, with an automatic transmission from 2002-2009. The 08-09 automatic WRX was labelled "2.5GT" and are extremely hard to come by. I know because I was trying to source one for my wife a couple years back.
