2014 BRZ Owners Manual

I'm too lazy to comb through this for differences, but in case anyone is interested, here is the link to the 2014 Subaru BRZ Owners Manual straight from Subaru. It was posted to their website on Wednesday. If you spot differences, I'm happy to add them to the next thread post as an easy way to tell the differences between the 2013 and 2014 models.

I could not find one differences after viewing multiple times between the '13 and '14 manuals.

Same engine, same interior features, etc...

What gives Subaru? Are they really gonna add those knee pads and call it a day?

Well I don't know how definitive this is but there is apparently no arm rest still.

Only possible difference spotted are the wheel design when describing them in the manual. But these look like the lower spec rims offered in the UAE and might be nothing different. Still isn't stopping me from getting the MY14 though. There's plenty of choices to "remedy" any issues people have with a lack thereof, of features they were hoping for.

True. I think it is wise to wait for a year of a car that is favorable but honestly, you just need to bite the bullet and buy one otherwise you will always be waiting for the new year model and never commit to a car lol.

For me, armrest and knee pads are very simple fixes. And things like the crickets would be fixed under warranty ( when there is an actual fix ). I am not surprised they are very similar, I wouldn't imagine any large changes at least till '15

I see it all around the forum and I know it means 2014. But what is MY14 stand for?

I doubt there would be much of anything outwardly different. There were only very minor differences between 02/03 WRX's. Minor part revisions they wouldn't list in an owners manual.

If ppl are expecting major changes man are they in for disappointment look at subarus track record with cars.
Not sure how many threads and spectulations over the past few months and yet ppl in the know tell others to buy now why wait and ppl still wait for all these changes, might as well wait for 2021 there should be a fully developed one by then...

Its like computer parts theres always something better comming but your suffering with your pos comp right now till you bite the bullet. And sometimes all that is promised is barely better then whats avalible. Pretty sure theres not going to be a quantum leap in performance, if ever cause toyota wont let it cause they still want something better (bmw/toyota) new z4/supra, and something smaller as well. So we are waiting on sti to do something more then give us a bodykit and bolt ons, who knows when that will be maybe a small leap in 2015 or 2017? But by then there probably something else cool out and do you still want an 86?
