it was loud with a cat back exhaust and uel headers? i was considering this set up, because I thought at least having a cat front pipe would make it a bit more easy on the ears

My definition of loud might be different than y'all's. I don't like anything above stock when idling, etc. Maybe I'm finally becoming an old man... It wasn't terrible, and I could have lived with it, but it was too much for a daily driver for me. I could still hear the radio and phone calls were a bit of a pain above 5k.

Why did you post this immediately after I finished installing a cheap catless front pipe that I know I will eventually replace with a catted front pipe just like this eventually...
