BRZ Squishy Plastic Bumper
My 2nd video from the Subaru @ Hermosa Beach event on Saturday. Is this supposed to be pre-production only, or is it really going to be that flimsy? Feels like an R/C car lolz. It's definitely NOT like that on my Lude, nor any other car I've ever seen...

hmm...i dont remember it being that flimsy. It could possibly be a pre-production model.

All C6 vettes are a lot worse & they are much more expensive. They may be cutting costs or saving weight by using less material, personally I couldn't care less what the bumper feels like when pushing on it heh.

It's just a cover, most likely for weight savings. The bits that matter in a crash are hidden under the parts designed to look good.

K..guess I won't worry too much about being creamed if I get rear-ended by some douche, then.

It's supposed to be like that. It's just a piece connected to the rear bumper. As long as it has a few bolts, clips, and snaps to hold it. I'm totally fine.

Yea it's not part of the bumper, it just covers the bumper and muffler and has a few inches that serves as a diffuser of sorts.

Yea, I think it's so people who don't know any better think it's a real giant diffuser on the back lol. They could've omitted the entire vertically oriented part.
