Raceseng | Go Pro Tow Hook

In addition to our "TUG" tow hook for the FR-S and BRZ, we are in the prototyping phase of developing a Go Pro mount edition. It will be called the "TUG VIEW." Being that the tow hook bolts directly into the frame, there are no camera gyrations or jitters. In addition to clear, smooth footage, you wont have to worry about losing your Go Pro or damaging paint with a suction cup mount. This puppy isn't going anywhere!

Stay Tuned!

Thanks! The front lip is APR Performance.

The Tug Hook and Tug View are in production and the rings will be available tin different colors. The orange you see there was the orange sample from our anodizer to match the Raceseng orange.

Just posted in another thread of yours, but the one "without" go pro mount, does it stick out same amount?

Also do you have a template that you send with this to cut the pieces nicely from our cars? The cover part I am specifically speaking of here...

Many thanks!

@Raceseng, the concept is amazingly solid and I love it, but I wouldn't be able to use it. It needs to be longer because folks using an external microphone (like myself) cannot use it, since it connects on the left side of the camera. There needs to be room for a USB to 3.5mm audio jack adapter cable, plus I'm not 100% comfortable having the camera leaning on the bumper. It has the same risk of damaging the paint as the suction cup mount. Some vibration will occur even if you tighten the whole thing down.

It looks like the gopro in the pic above is using a back of some kind ( the lcd touch back or the battery back).

If you didn't use a back on the gopro it would have more clearance but I agree there needs to have more clearance with a back on the gopro.

Even if the design wasn't changed, if one was using the Hero 3 then there would be no such issue with touching of the bumper as it is physically a lot thinner.

You know, that might work. I forgot that the last time I mounted my hero 3 it was upside down and the wires stuck out to the left. When the camera is upright the wire will go to the right. Thanks for pointing that out.

The camera has plenty of room between itself and the front bumper, even with a rear LCD. No worries, I wouldn't want my camera rubbing the front bumper!

The group buy for any of our Tug products is going on right now! Select from your choice of Tug (tow hook), Tug View (tow hook + gopro mount) and Tugless View (gopro mount). Check it out!

If it can be made a little longer the paint touching may be a non issue?
