Where to purchase tint, Nebraska or Florida?
Alright, so in a month I'm moving down to Gainesville. I want to tint my windows, probably somewhere around 20%. Here's the deal; I'm not sure where to get it done. My reasoning for doing it while in Nebraska is that it will probably be cheaper, and I know someone who does excellent work and has worked on these cars before. My reasoning for Florida is that it will be easier to get darker tint because less restrictive tint laws, and if I have problems with the tint such as peeling or cracking, I'm able to bring it to the person who tinted it, but it's probably more expensive, based on the tint thread. I'm not sure what to do. HELP! Thanks :happy0180:

I wouldn't really worry about "problems" from police down here about tint, they do not have time to check unless you do other stupid things. I got 15% on all windows except the windshield (FL legal is 28 front and 15 rear. Never had any issues. If you can get it done cheaper and better up there do that.

Get it done in FL. it gets hot down here and if your Nebraska tint cracks in the FL heat you'll have to pay to get it redone. If FL tint cracks on you you can just warranty it
