Exclamation Aventador themed tail lights?

Someone in a facebook group said they got these tail lights for their FRS

I found this old thread here, looks like where the pic originated from but does anyone know if these tail lights are actually for sale anywhere or were they just trolling? I haven't been able to find them but I think they look awesome..

The kind of remind me of the scene in Spaceballs when Spaceball 1 goes to plaid.

They certainly are interesting. I think I would like them without the yello/orange colors.

I feel like I have to comment on how they went to great detail and molding the widebody but just stuck the wing on there. Maybe they ran out of time.

I had the same thought.
If it was for SEMA, that's a very likely scenario :nods:

The amount of time, effort and money spent on making the FR-S/BRZ into something else is amazing, if not borderline retarded. A lip and a wing? The pics make me even more dedicated to keeping mine stock.

ETA: Yeah, different strokes for different folks, I know. But at some point, that different stroke is full-retard.

ETA: The FR-S DOES look a bit like an SLR from the front. I'm surprised there are no Mercedes rebagded Scions yet. Give it time.......

ETA again: There are not nearly enough LED's and square lines on some of those cars. Fugly, damn near all of them.

Look at the lines between the decklid and the quarter panel....

The one thing all the build threads are missing is total cost. Some of them have to be upwards of 30K, and at the end of all that you still have a cheap-ass Subaru.

NOTE: I was going to explain "cheap ass", but decided to say f-it.

I forget who said it here, but he was right. The FR-S is the new Civic. It not only re-invigorated Scion, but also the "ricers".

FR-S must mean "Full Retard-Style", or maybe "Frankenrice".

When the FRS and BRZ resale value is under $5K, the only ones you can find are tri-colored w/ no AC and has a stupid fart cannon, are absolutely EVERYWHERE and a dime a dozen then ill consider it the new "civic".

Used 86's are still over $20K and new ones near $30K (depending on the deal you got at the time of purchase). With those prices it's well above to keep RIFF RAFF out. PM me when they do start getting into civic territory, that's when I'll know its time to sell/trade.

The trunk doesn't line up with the body just above the center of the tail light, looks bad
