Winter Sucks

Srsly....we've had more days with high temperatures well below average than we have had above. It seems like there's constantly ice on the roads at some point every week, and going outside to smoke a cigarette is like preparing for a mountain expedition in the Himalayans.

I HATE THE COLD!

Spring, where are you?

Luckily down here we only get maybe 1-2 days out of the entire winter when there's any salt on the road. And of course, I don't drive the AE86 on those days. (Just find a ride through someone else).

This winter has been the exception of course, however, the 86 isn't even drivable right now because of its head, so in a good way, I'm lucky my hachi isn't running?

I just hate trekking to classes and to apartments and dorms in the snow. Especially with all the wind here. Most mornings its 18 degrees with 25 mph wind.

As for driving, I have a friend with a subaru forrester so I'm set.

I dont mind the winter when I have my subie with me, she loves the cold. But this 3ft in DC is a pain because no one knows what to do on and off the roads. Oh, and relax with that global warming theory, this is just an El Nino year thats all.

Oh I know, I use to live in Cali (lil bit south of Sacramento) for 2 yrs. Also use to live in Hawaii for 2 yrs too, so living in the Rocky Mountain area is nightmare for me...
