Eibach springs on stock struts?

Would it be a major problem? Or do i have to go with coilovers all the way.. I'd much rather just do springs but i dont want to void my warranty or ruin the struts and shocks if i dont need to..

Yes the Eibach spring kits are designed for use with stock struts. No one however can claim how long stock struts will last as the platform is still so new.

Np. Since the car has been out a year already you can -usually- find that someone has already asked/answered your question. Starting by searching on any forum is usually a safe bet.

Another good way to search is to use Google to search the site:

site:ft86club.com search rce

^entering that into google will get you a search for all the threads with "rce" (Racecomp Engineering) in it and will link to the start of the thread.

site:ft86club.com intext:"rce"

^Entering that will search all text in all posts for "rce" and will take you to the start of the tread as well.

Lots of other options as well when using google to search forums.

Everything is a trade-off. Lowering springs are fine on stock shocks as long as you only care about looks. If you're looking for warranty on blown struts on lowering springs, you can forget about getting that done unless you can prove that the strut was a defect.

You swap aftermarket springs on the stock suspension, it's voided. Just a word of warning.
