New Here and my go pro mount
Hi guys,
I am new to the forum. I got my manual whiteout FR-S the end of January this year. I just recently got a gopro hero3 and wanted a good way to mount it in the car and this is what I came up with. Let me know what you think and also if there is enough interest I will put up a video of my new Perrin CAI and silicone intake tube. Last edited by hegreer1; 06-24-2013 at 04:45 PM. |

That's some good thinking there for those of us without rollcages to fix cameras to.
I'm curious about the vibration level too, any chance of some sample vid? |

Alright guys,
I just put together a short video just for a little sample of how it works while driving. The audio quality is not the best as everyone with a gopro will understand, but the mount seems very sturdy and has very little noticeable vibration. Let me know what you guys think. Woah didn't someone post literally the same thing a couple months ago? Like, same design and everything. I'm not saying OP is a liar, it's just weird how they have the same design lol

I made a similar one, used a pvc tube so i could use a gopro cage mount for the camera. One tip i can give, mount it off the driver seat not the passenger seat. 2 reasons, 1 having a body in the seat keeps it from shaking as much (drivers seat always has a person in it) 2nd reason, the drivers seat is probably always in the same position, if passengers move the passenger seat around then ur camera angle changes.

I made a video from my autocross this past Sunday using the mount, thought I would post it up.
