THIS WEEKEND JUNE 22ND/23RD

Spectating if FREE

Cascade Sports Car Club and the ICSCC present the Chicane Challenge XXI at Portland International Raceway. This is a big event with some very nice race cars (including a huge PRO3 E30 field).

There's fun and racing on both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday features a 1 hour "mini enduro" with 3 classes and a mandatory pit stop. Some cars will take fuel or change drivers, others will go the distance.

Sunday features the championship races ranging from Open Wheel formula cars to PRO3 E30's to Spec Miatas to Subaru STI's to Tube Frame American V8's (Ground Pounders).

The "Sky Bridge" will be open on both days so you can cross the track and come check out the cars and talk to the drivers.

This would be a great place for meetup (huge parking lot) and it's during a race weekend. BTW: the races are all huge fans of the Twins, so you might even have some racers coming over to ask about our cars.

Oh yeah, since this is a Chicane race, the Chicane is a great place to watch from... example:

Bought my daughter a clean E30 a few years ago. I SO want to turn it into a PRO3 car.

On a side note there will be an auto cross event on Sunday June 23rd held by the local PCA Oregon chapter.
