Modifying orders?

This is a double post from a different thread but got buried unfortunately. Sorry for postin it again but this is important for me

Maybe someone can help me. After an order is placed on the dealer site on thursday, are they allow to modify their order at all or is it set in stone? Lets say you wanted to change color after the order was placed or if ur order was placed in error? thanks

You can always back out of the deal after it's ordered and re-order or source your own in the spec you desire. Most reputable dealers will have a refundable deposit, or no deposit required for orders.

my dealer told me I could change it whenever and that he would call when he gets more info on the options. They don't know for sure what some of the items were while some options were grayed out and the two packages didn't say anything.

I have not yet received my SOA confirmation email. Does this mean I can still modify my order since I will not be in my dealers "first batch"?

The dealer sometimes gets penalized for this; however, they shouldn't have a hard time selling the BRZ if he does decide to back out.
