Koni Sport Shock Question

Maybe a stupid question and I've done a bit of web searching but can't come up with an answer. I've never had adjustable shocks on a 4 wheel vehicle but I've ridden bikes for most of my life. Shocks on sport bikes typically come with 2 adjustments, one for rebound and one for compression. Obviously independently adjusted.

There is only one adjustment point on the Koni's. Does it adjust the shock rebound, the compression or both?

TIA for any input.

I can't say for sure but my guess is that it adjusts rebound since that's what it adjusted on the Koni yellows I put on my mazda.

I believe all Koni yellows only have rebound adjustment.

Yes they have a preset compression and the adjuster controls rebound. There is a very slight affect on compression but not much.

I have them and they are rebound. Max soft is a great street comfortable ride, better than stock when paired with the RCE Yellow springs that I also have even though it's much stiffer. Putting them at full firm is not comfortable but would probably be great at the track, which I'll get to try in August.

Thanks guys, I have them paired with Eibach Pro's and currently set mid range of adjustment. I honestly can't tell much difference in ride from stock even set here. I'd had the springs with OEM shocks on for about a month.

@FRSFirestorm how low was the results, front and rear? I have koni yellows too but am looking for the right springs to get low as possible.

Koni Sports are rebound adjustable only. They are also still on sale for $615 a set through 6/28, after that they go back up to over $750 a set, so if you want a set act fast because it'd suck to pay some $140 more for the same shocks because you waited too long.

I've got plenty in stock, shipping is about $20 most anywhere in the USA.

I honestly haven't taken any measurements. I'd say its real close to the 1" everyone reports.

Most single adjustable shocks, whether they are coilovers or not, only adjust rebound.
