Tints

I got my tint done at a local shop, I noticed bubbles and thought it'll go away as advertised but after two weeks, it's still there. I took it back to the shop and they couldn't do anything about it.

Is that normal for bubbles (there's like 12-15) on one side?

No. That is a terrible job and it is bull they cant do anything about it. They need to redo the window. I took mine in for 2 tiny bubbles on 2 windows and it wasn't even an issue to get it redone.

Why is tint plural here? Anyway that is not acceptable. It should only take a few days for any bubbles to go away. Good Luck!

Something like that.

Listen, raise some hell. Start yelling, demanding you want your money back. Clearly they can't do tints.

I had some few bubbles and they offer to completely redo it. The guy who was working on your car must of really sucked if there were that many air bubbles on your window...

Talk to the manager and write a bad review of the shop.

I really admire the part right before this scene. IE the woman with boobs that comes to take them to Pan. Or is it Pam?

What window is it? Some people have had novice shops that couldn't tint the "spotted" area on the rear quarter windows, others have had issues with tinters who tried to go around the third brake light. Neither is acceptable, go back and demand a refund or get them to re-do the window.

It's the back/rear window

So they probably messed it up b/c of the angle and the third brake light. They need to re-do it. There's a thread here if you search for how to take the cover off the third brake light. It should make it easier for them to tint the second time. Make note also of the size of the guy who's going to do your tint...small wiry dudes are going to have a lot more room to work in the car than some gordy chunk.

Sometimes it takes up to 30 days for the bubbles to go away. If not then I suggest redoing your tints from elsewhere. Get 3M tints if you can as they do offer a warranty in case anything happens.

It's been 14 days, I guess it hasn't been hot enough? It's 3M Pinnacle Formula One Series.

No, bubbles shouldn't stay in there, if there are, they did a terrible job. I had a mobile guy do my car who I was originally a bit scared of, when he said he'd charge $125 to do my rear, sides, and front window all together, BUT after it was all done, it was better than my 3-4 previous tint jobs on other cars surprisingly. It all depends on how good the guy is and the quality of the tint, but yeah, I'd ask them to do it all over again, they did a crap job.
