Horrorbiz's BRZ

I went to the Subaru dealership on a whim a few weeks ago to test drive a BRZ. I wasn't planning on buying one—at the time I had a 98 Impreza wagon with suspension upgrades, WRX wheels that I daily drove in addition to a 2011 WRX w/ lots of mods, making 305whp, 330wtq. Before I knew what was happening I was signing paperwork to purchase the BRZ. I sold the 98 Impreza, and I am keeping the WRX.

If I told 18 year old me (driving an 88 Chevy Celebrity) that I'd have a WRX and a BRZ when I was 30 I probably wouldn't have believed it, hah.

I have to say, aside from power (and the ability to romp through the snow without any concern), the BRZ is much better than the WRX in almost every aspect. I absolutely love it.

The only thing I have changed so far is the wheels. I'm currently running 18x8 et45, Enkei RPF1's with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's in 235/40.

The day I got it:

...and here's my WRX:

...my old wagon:

...and my first Subaru that started the obsession:

Thanks! I'm leaning toward just doing the RCE Yellow springs.

Today I had the Eibach Pro-kit springs + bumpstops installed at Kaizen Tuning. I'm very happy with them. I think the 1" drop is perfect. It's crazy how much lower it is than my WRX which is lowered on The GTWorx RCE/Bilstein combo.

I'll try to take some better pictures soon.

Looks good with the new drop on those rpfs. Wish I had a choice of two nice cars every morning going to work, lol.

I like subtle look w/ a 1" drop and RPF1's. It works flawlessly.

Thanks! Still can't believe I have both. I almost always choose the BRZ for what it's worth!

Thanks! I'm not a fan of slammed cars. I wanted to retain all of the fun this car provides!

I sold my WRX the other day and got a regular Impreza for winter driving/commuting. I'll be using some of the money I got back for some BRZ goodies. I already got Toms tailights and slear sidemarkers and I ordered the OEM fog light kit and rear diffuser. Here's some new pics my friend took (he's 860go on instagram)

That's my friend's car, I think he bought the fogs and housings as a set from someone used.
