Tattoo question

Sooo im a novice when it comes to tattoos. I only have a small tattoo on my right arm a bit bigger than my palm. Im looking to get a tattoo on my chest now. Itll be from shoulder to shoulder with color. But the guy charges 160 an hour. Itll roughly end up costing 1200-1500 plus tip...
I fell in love with the design he gave me.
Now i dont know if thats expensive or not for something like mine. He does seem very experienced looking at his portfolio and he does work at a well known shop.
Anyone capable of helping me figure out if price wise, im not getting ripped off? Preferably people with alot of tattoos.
Ps: please dont flame me and say i can use it on car parts :P

Seems reasonable to me. My friends have tattoos, all epic; and their tattoo artists charged them around that price per hour.

No regrets here at all. He did the outline today took a two and a half hours. Charged me 300 plus i gave him 60 tip. I love how it came out.
Pretty painful though. Worried about getting it colored since itll take longer and more area to cover. That = more pain LOL

That mind over matter thing really works to a certain extent.
At least for me I found whenever I mentally prepared myself for pain it wasn't as bad as when it's random.
I also heard it helps to talk during your visit to take your mind off of it
Glad it came out good! Post pics(I think there's a tattoo thread) once it's colored!!
And remember this is for life! You want the best and only the best!!
