Modification Sticker
Noticed this on the inside of my drivers side door. Have no idea what has been modified. Anyone else got this sticker or know what it might be?

hmmmm im curious too. why would they post that for such a small amount of weight. I mean I easily have 10+ lbs in my car w/stuff I use everyday. What dealer did you go to or buy from?

Bought from Toyota of Dallas, but they only had the car a few hours. It was transferred up from a Dealership in Houston for me, and as soon as it arrived I went down there and bought it.

a quick google search netted similar posts on multiple Toyota forums for Lexus suv's and other models,
Some theories are options that add weight are accounted for by this sticker. Like if you bought navigation, stereo or alarm upgrades (SUv's were seeing up to 90lb reductions that seemingly co-related to towing packages and luxury trim package. |

I think i must have been trying to be to precise when i googled. Got mine with the premium bespoke stereo and paint protection. Cant see the 3M paint protection adding weight, and no spoiler added. Maybe the stereo added the weight. Thanks for that info.

I have one of these stickers in mine as well the only option that came on the car was the trunk liner and the 3M paint protection package. Got mine from a dealer in Yokem, Louisiana. It could have something to do with the 3M pain protection package maybe.

I forgot I got the cargo mat as well. Maybe that some heavy weighted mat. lol :P
ToD sales guy just got back to me. He checked an FR-S on the lot and has the sticker as well with a 13lb reduction. Has the spoiler package and security system and cargo mat. Guess its anything little thing that is added. |
