Stock Scion Rear Wing

I've been to a lot of the Tuesday night meets in Irvine and I have only seen one other person besides my car with the Scion rear spoiler. Why is it so rare? Any thoughts? Is it ugly? :/ I bought my car at South Coast Toyota and they had two on the lot with it installed.

Personally I just did what I could to get the Asphalt Auto. It just happened to be stripped of options, which I was ok with. Woulda paid for it had it been on there though.

Mine came with a different one.. looks like a Five Axis. I did not pay extra for it either.

I don't like the look and wouldn't take one even for free, but that's me.

My experience (frs that I see in my area), about 40% or more have that stock scion spoiler. I think it just depends on the dealership - maybe they try to bump up the price wih the spoiler as an add on.

The reason I didn't buy the BRZ Limited is because it came with a spoiler. I know it's a matter of personal taste but I just don't like them on a pleasure car which FR-S is.

I will say of all the different spoilers out there I think that one looks the best.

My firestorm came with the five axis spoiler (bought mine in January). A friend who bought his last summer didn't have the spoiler. Spoiler doesn't make or break the car. Most people in my area don't have a spoiler either.

i was about to jump a red frs with the scion spoiler and trd exhaust, I loved the way it looked. But I liked the brz spoiler a bit more with that little hump thingy on each side.. I never seen a frs yet with a spoiler driving around. they are all naked!

Yes...Checked under the trunk and found the bolts there. Looks like it could still be covered if I choose to put a new wing there but I don't know about how leak-resistant it would be...

May be the reason why we don't see many of these. The Five Axis is easier to install and can be taken off without damage if ever need be.
