Pro-Tip for Invisicord/MirrorTap

I own a BRZ Limited with the HomeLink mirror.
1. I ordered a refurb Escort 8500 from Escort
2. I ordered a Blendmount
3. I ordered an Invisicord

The invisicord plugs into the back of the molex connecter in the mirror, so its the cleanest looking solution for tapping power with the least amount of wiring (vs splicing it in yourself).

Problem: Occasionally it would reset.

Diagnosis: the pins for the invisicord are very slender.

Solution: I took a pair of cuticle nipper, put a slight bend in each of the invisicord tips, then re-inserted them. This keeps them always in contact with a conductive surface inside the molex connecter.

Which option did you choose when you bought the cord? Fuse? Length?
