scion service boost

How many of you prefer doing you own oil changes or take their car to the dealer? I have always done my oil changes and used mobile 1. I don't trust dealers.. they always in a hurry and make mistakes

Personal choice I guess. I can see not taking it to the dealer due to lack of trust or something.

I take mine to the dealer for now, the service boost is already paid for since it is part of the price of the car so I will take advantage of it until it is gone. If the dealer screws up, they will fix it and if they don't I will be back until they do. After the service boost is gone I will take it elsewhere.

I've always taken photos before dropping my car off. I especially take pictures of the odometer, that way I can bust them!

I plan on having the dealer do the oil/filter changes, as long as it is paid for.

Having said that, I do "mark" the oil filter (to make sure it was changed) check the oil level before driving off the dealers lot (to make sure they put oil back in the crankcase) and check under the car, back in my garage (for leaks from a not tight drain plug).

I've taken my tC to Kearny Mesa Scion for 8 years every 5k miles, and I have every intention to take the FR-S there too. Ron Watzek has always been extremely helpful and gets what I need done in a timely manner. Now that the service is free for two years, all the more reason to go.

I get my service done at the dealership every 5K miles or 6 months which ever one comes first.

They don't screw around with my cars or it's their jobs and they know this.

free synthetic oil changes? I'll take it.

My dealer also said they rotated tires as part of it.. so I'm going to milk it.
