after market alarm on brz limited

Anyone install aftermarket alarm on their brz limited?

wondering how it functions with the keyless entry ....can you still use your hand to open and lock the door. I was thinking to install a viper with tilt sensor but not to utilize the keyless operation only the alarm. So Im thinking if i do this the factory entry and locking with your hand should still work? Anyone done this?

thanks

If it is properly wired up with proper bypass module it should disarm the alarm when sensing the key and door unlock. Its the same thing when I do the frs the factory key will unlock and lock the door as well as disarm and alarm the aftermarket alarm.

I had an alarm installed on my BRZ Limited and anytime I walk near my car with my Smart Key the alarm goes off. The installers told me that there wasn't a way around this and that this is how alarms and Smart Keys react.

Has anyone with a Smart Key had success in making it work with your alarm system?
