Which headers? Borla Equal Length or FA20club catless?

Hey guys, so I have access to a second car for the next month or so... which makes it a great time for me to get some serious stuff done to my brz. Which headers would you guys recommend? Borla Equal Length headers or FA20club catless headers? (I am trying to spend no more than 1k installed)

I currently have a Perrin over pipe, and catted front pipe, as well as Perrin resonated exhaust. My Brz is my daily driver. I do plan to do a few track days a year in the near future, right now every few weeks I do very spirited drives in the mountains...

Thank you for any help or advice you guys can offer! I am looking to jump on one of these memorial day sales and get my brz's exhaust done asap!

I recommend a catted setup (I think FA20club come with cats), especially with you being in California. The high flow cat doesn't lose much horsepower (maybe 1-2?) and you don't need to worry as much about a cop pulling you over. Not to mention its still legal in SCAA if you ever care about autox.

My recommendation is FA20club out of those as I've heard some bad things about Borla build quality. Some on these forums have had to send their headers in 3+ times because of warped flanges.

FA20 hands down. These will actually make more power, and loads more torque with a tune than the Borlas.

Perfect, thank you for the info guys. That helps a lot. And I wasn't aware that it having a catted header only looses 1-2 hp... crazy how you loose more than that by having a catted front pipe. Thanks again!

Take a look at the P&L header too. @Hawaiian can vouch.

I have been quite happy with the FA20Club Header/Turbo Manifold catted. Sounds great and gets rid of the torque dip.
